I consider myself a connoisseur of houses and homes. I do not take an interest in just one aspect of designing a home, but all of them, I do not focus on just the kitchen, or the living room or the bedrooms of a new or old house. While many people pride themselves on being an “expert” in a particular room or type of decoration I pride myself in my passion for the whole lot. From the beds to the fire guards, the wallpaper to the skirting boards and the windows to the doors.
Even the less spectacular, and less sexy, garage doors. They might not welcome your friends and family over the threshold and into your home, they might not even house a car, but the garage door is an essential part of your home; both practically and stylistically. Having an old, beat up and discoloured garage door is going to look awful, while having an old, rusty door that you need to manually open after a lot of effort might not work for you either. Consider every aspect when designing your home; not just the obvious ones.
